We are a group of five European Secondary Schools proposed to implement a project which aims to raise awareness of European Citizenship with regards to the protection of the environment alongside with the adoption of a healthy lifestyle. The project will involve pupils aged between 11 and 17 who will collaborate through a curriculum-based approach in common activities which will foster key-ideas such as saving energy, recycling, sustainable lifestyle, healthy diet and physical exercise. Cultural acquisition, use of ICT and language practice in real context are infused in all aspects of the project. The main objective is to contribute to the development of positive attitudes towards the issues of environment and health by enhancing collaboration and respect of cultural diversity among European Union countries. Furthermore we're going to improve the quality of the Lifelong learning process to acquire the basic life skills and competences necessary for their personal development. |
